Visitors

First of all I'd like to say CONGRATULATIONS to my husband for receiving a full time offer with PwC starting September 1st. For those of you who weren't aware of our situation, Spencer has been working as an intern this summer hoping to receive a full time offer. After a few bumps in the road we finally have the relief of knowing Spencer has a job and I couldn't be more proud of him. Everyone who comes in contact with my Spencer falls in love with him, what's not to love right?

So Seattle has truly become our home and we're hoping that it stays that way for a long while. Not that we don't love and miss you all... Although it would be nice if all of our favorite people lived in the same amazing city as we do, visitors help us stay sane. We've been fortunate enough to see my mom twice, my dad once, and my best friend once since we moved 4 months ago...please everyone keep the trips coming. We thoroughly enjoy visitors, and feel very blessed that our loved ones have the opportunity to come out so frequently. I've only remembered to take pictures of miss Ashley's visit, sorry mom & pops... next time we'll make to to document your visits.

I'm pretty excited about some hobbies that I've picked up now that I have some time to myself. Painting (very recently) and Yoga have taken up most of my spare time, and I'm truly loving both... although I'm not what you would consider "skilled" by any stretch of the imagination... I am enjoying my journey of self improvement. The feeling of moving forward in life is priceless and I'm so grateful to my husband working full time which in turn allows me to take advantage of resources that are so abundant up here. I'm surrounded by so many creative, colorful, and talented people in this area that it's really been a joy learning from them and observing their skills.

Summers in Seattle are so perfect and beautiful, I took my best friend to Pikes Place Market while she was up here and I was blown away by the produce. I wish we lived closer to downtown so I could take advantage of that wonderful market. One day... hopefully. And unfortunately I have yet to take pictures of our surroundings. It is on my ever growing list of things to do, patience my friends patience...

Here are a few pictures of Ashley's visit, and a great little video of a show downtown called The Can Can, located underneath Pikes Place. Enjoy.

Cara and Spencer! Congrats on the full-time position. I'm so happy for you. Cara, your mom says that Spencer is a hard worker and has really proved himself.

I'm enjoying your blog. It looks like you are really gaining your webbed feet.

Love, Aunt Pam
