*UPDATE*

SO we finally have the Internet... And I have a TON of updating to do, so I apologize for the delay. A couple weeks ago we came up to Washington to look for a place to rent, we found a home and were lucky enough to stick around for a couple days and fix the place up to reflect our taste. We literally painted everything in the home, cabinets, walls, molding... you name it... after a pain staking 4 days we were finally finished and it turned out beautiful! We went home, packed up our life and made the trek back a few days later... We made it safe and sound up to Washington about a week and a half ago, and are truly loving it. We are renting a home 4 blocks from the beach in a beautiful town called Edmonds, its about 15 mins away from downtown Seattle. They have a large dog park located on the beach that our dogs are LOVING, they're making new friends and are having a blast running on the beach. We live in the historic downtown part of Edmonds so there are many cute shops and restaurants we're having fun exploring. There's also a farmers market held every Saturday down the street, it's a bit smaller than the one that was held in Provo by our previous home... but its still a great place to get organic fresh produce and beautiful flowers. Needless to say, we are in love with the area and I feel right at home.

I have been contemplating the last couple months or so what I would like to do with my life/career... I needed to do something that wouldn't take years to complete, that I could do part time while still having a family, and something that I could feel passionate about and love doing. I've been debating between a few things and yesterday I met with a counselor at a medical institute downtown for their veterinary technician program, after 2 hours I was signed up to start classes this coming Monday! Vet Techs surprisingly do much more than I ever thought they did... such as; Physical Therapy, pharmacology, radiology, surgical assistance, biopsy, advanced hematology, dentistry, and much much more. The average pay was also much higher than I had expected, but regardless of pay, this is something I can be passionate about. I've always had a love for animals and am excited to have a career in the field. I've been feeling pretty overwhelmed with all the new changes in our life, but I am SO grateful to be able to take some time and get an education for myself.

Speaking of education... I finally have time to formally congratulate my husband for his accomplishment in graduation! He has been such a trooper especially his last semester when he was taking 24 credits... and did AMAZING! He's been so dedicated and has earned himself an impressive degree. Thank you husband for all your hard work. Here are a few pictures from graduation... I will soon post pictures of our new home. Love and miss you all!

When I read that you were going to going into Veterinarian Tech (I don't know if I said, or spelled that right), I wasn't suprised at all. That sounds like the perfect job for you. It sounds like every part of life is falling right into place for you two. You sound very happy! We will miss you guys for sure. I can't wait to hear about Washington in person when you back to Utah for Shanae's wedding!
