Our 4th was most likely just like everyone else's 4th out there. On the 3rd we went to the Eaglewood fireworks with our friends Cam & Whit, Tiff & Ben, and my brother Chad & Star. They were pretty good but I've decided I enjoy fireworks more when they're put to music, it just makes them seem much more exciting! On the 4th me and my mom went and got manicures and then we went over to my Aunt and Uncle's house to watch the Davis Fireworks, once again they were pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary. And of course we had my Aunt's famous home made ice cream. All in all it was a good holiday weekend nothing too exciting though. I didn't take too many pictures so here is the one from Eaglewood, it turned out funky but I decided I kind of like it.

Every year we have a Stewart family reunion up at Bear Lake. We were up there from Tuesday to Saturday night. It was such a relief to not have to work for four days, definitely a needed vacation. We played on the beach, did crafts, the boys went golfing, ate a lot of good food, and just enjoyed our selves. The first day I unfortunately got FRIED on my shoulders and nose, I keep forgetting I'm not as tan as I use to be. 5 years ago I never had to put sunscreen on, so me being the dummy that I am decided I might try that again. Almost 4 days later its just now starting to feel a little less irritating. So lesson learned... I'm definitely not the same person I was 5 years ago... I'm glad a terrible burn made me realize that hahahaha. On Saturday Spencer and I decided we were done with the beach and getting burned so we went up to the Minnetonka Cave, the last time I had gone there was when I was maybe 10 yrs old. So we were pretty excited to see everything again. While we were waiting for our tour, we found out that a lady had slipped and injured her back, there were ambulances and everything there, we figured it had to be an older lady who was maybe wearing flip flops or something, much to our surprise when they brought her up on the stretcher she was only about 30 and was wearing hiking boots. Yes this frightened me, I was wearing a pair of flats that didn't have the best traction so the whole time in the cave I just kept thinking I'm going to slip and kill myself. And as you may have already guessed, I didn't die and made it out just fine. Before we went into the cave a butterfly kept landing on me, it wouldn't land on anyone else except for me... I thought that was kind of strange so we got a couple pictures. The tour was about an hour and a half and as everyone knows who has been there, at the end of the tour they turn off all the lights in the cave to experience total darkness... then the guide asked if anyone had a diamond ring... silence... no one said anything so Spencer volunteered myself. She turned off the lights again and put her laser pointer in my ring, she said that you can only know if its a real diamond if the laser produces lots of dots, which mine did. Boy did that make me relieved... every time we go bowling or anything with black lights, my diamond glows... I always thought that to be strange and always wondered in the back of my mind if my diamond was real. So that put my mind to peace, hahahaha. Well anyways it was a really great trip and I absolutely love going each year, its a joy to get to know my second family more and more. So here's some pictures, enjoy.

Spencer must be relieved to know that your diamond is real. Can you imagine if it didn't glow? I wonder if that's happened there. Last week was a blast. Glad you guys were there. On the way home Olivia asked, "Where's Cara?" then she sang happy birthday to you, spencer, clane, gpa, gma, maya, braiden, seff, & susan. I just love vacations!!!
Cara- we found your blog... Yeah! Come down sometime when you don't have anything cooler going on. It woould be fun.
It was great at Bear Lake, wasn't it. Sorry we didn't get to visit more. My daughter was sick Fri and Sat so I was sitting in the condo with her, not much fun. The cave looked like fun. It has been years since I went to the cave. Looking forward to it next year. By the way I loved the dress you had at the beach.
